Step to Upload and Embed a PDF file in WordPress Post
This technique allows you to display the PDF file inside the WordPress post or page using a WordPress plugin.
First of all, install and activate the Google Doc Embedder plugin. After activation, visit Settings » GDE Settings page for the configuration of the plugin.
Select the language, height, width, and others in the configuration. Default options will function for nearly all websites, review and change them if you need.
Visit the post or page where you want to embed your PDF file.
Click on the ‘Add Media’ button to upload your PDF document on the post edit screen. Post uploading of this file, copy the file URL and close media uploader window without inserting the file into the post.
Now, click on the Google Docs Embedder icon in your WordPress post editor.
A popup will come up where you need to paste the earlier copied PDF file URL and then click on the ‘Insert’ button.
